Office of International Student Affairs of Shanghai Polytechnic University invited Mr. Tang Hairong and Mr. Ge Xuanqi from Zhangjiang University Police Station, Mr. Xu Wei and Mr. Wang Weiqiang from Foreign Management Group of Pudong Entry- Exit Office and Deputy Director of SSPU Security Department, Mr. Mao Xinrong to have a lecture on law popularization education for international year one students On Sep 10，2024.
In the lecture, Mr. Xu Wei explained the policy that students need to pay attention to in terms of visa application, laws and regulations in detail. International students are required to register to the police system in time after coming to China or changing the living address. Always be aware of the policy.
Mr. Ge Xuanqi explained to international students the types and hazards of drugs and China's laws and regulations on drug crimes, reminding all students to stay away from drugs and have a healthy life. Mr. Ge also introduced common new types of scam cases for students to always keep alert, protect the personal information and beware of fraud tricks.
Mr. Mao Xinrong explained university discipline, asked the students to keep safety awareness, gave suggestion on fire prevention and theft prevention and daily study in the university. He reminded students to protect themselves and be responsible for others with vivid and real cases.
This lecture focuses on laws and policies, drug and scam prevention, campus safety and other aspects to remind students to abide by the laws, and to constantly strengthen the awareness of safety. We work together for a harmonious and safe campus to live and study!
