On March 9th, the first Chinese Proficiency Test HSK levels 3-6 and HSKK elementary, intermediate, and advanced exams for the year 2025 were held in the computer labs 429A and 429B of the library. This examination attracted candidates from over 30 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Russia, Canada, Morocco, and others, to register and participate, serving a total of 179 person-times to complete both written and oral examinations. During the preparation and conduct of the examination, the support of various departments including the Office of the President, Security Office, International Affairs Office, Information Technology Center, Library, School of Economics and Management, and School of Computer and Information Engineering was instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficient completion of the examination.
According to the latest requirements of HanKao International, this examination has updated the guidance information such as venue signs and road signs, and has made optimizations in examination services, venue management, and other aspects. It has improved the examination arrangement plan and examination process, optimized the venue arrangement and seat ratio, etc. It also pre-judges and resolves various potential issues that may occur during the examination period, while conducting examination service training in advance to ensure the smooth progress of the examination.
The International Chinese Education Volunteers of the School of International Education have consistently been arranged to complete the examination preparation and examination services, including setting up and tidying up the examination rooms before and after the exam, guiding candidates to the examination sites on the day of the exam, and answering related questions. Volunteer students enhance their sense of social experience and responsibility for international Chinese education while successfully assisting in examinations. This is an effective way for the School of International Education to improve the practical abilities of students majoring in international Chinese education, and to exercise their communication and service skills. During the examination process, the enthusiastic service and meticulous guidance provided by the exam supervisors and volunteer students were highly praised by the vast majority of candidates.
