On the morning of March 7, 2025, Vice Dean Cai Zhenyao, Director of International Affairs Gu Haodong, Director of the Innovation Education Center Shuai Ping, and International Student Counselor Liu Fang from the SILC Business School, Shanghai University visited our office for research and exchange. Deputy Director Zhang Tiantian, Recruitment Specialist Pan Huajia, and Counselor Shao Xiaochun from the Office of International Student Affairs participated in the reception work.
Zhang Tiantian first welcomed the delegation led by Vice Dean Cai Zhenyao on behalf of the Foreign Student Office and introduced the recruitment, management, participation in competitions, and social activities of international students at our university. Vice Dean Cai Zhenyao from the Sydney Business School introduced the purpose of this visit, hoping to consider the development model of international student education through peer research and to seek new models of cooperation in innovation and entrepreneurship education.
The Director of International Affairs at the Sydney Business School, Gu Haodong, provided a detailed introduction to the overall school-running situation, student body composition, talent cultivation characteristics, and the basic situation of student work at the Sydney Business School. The Director of the Innovation Education Center, Shuai Ping, focused on introducing the latest educational model of the Sydney Business Schools Entrepreneurship Education Center, One Real Project and Five Linked Classrooms, and shared the development history of the project from its inception to the present.
During this visit by the delegation from the SILC Business School, Shanghai University, both parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on various aspects of educational internationalization. From the sharing of educational resources, optimization of talent cultivation models, to the expansion of innovation and entrepreneurship projects, many sparks of thought were generated. It is believed that through this exchange, our office will further absorb experiences, continuously improve on the path of educational internationalization, strengthen collaborative cooperation with various universities, and promote the high-quality development of international student education.
